He also added more blinds to produce a winner in just a shorter time. The first tournament with participants from different nations was held in 1972. There were only eight participants back then. Today there are more than five hundred participants yearly. The tournaments are even covered by tv networks.

Now with the use of technology in everything people games like Texas Holdem also became modernized.
